About
Dr. Mayora Varshney is working as an Assistant Professor, Division of Research & Innovation, Uttaranchal University, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India (from 2024). She has worked at Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India (from 2019-2023). She served, as visiting research scientist, at X-ray open laboratory of Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST), Seoul, South Korea (from 2016-2018). She has worked as visiting scientist at Pohang Accelerator Laboratory, Pohang, South Korea for nanoparticle synthesis, photo-catalyst application and electronic structure study using XANES-EXAFS beamline facility of synchrotron accelerator of Pohang (from 2014-2015). She has earned her Ph.D. degree from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University Agra-India and worked for the ion irradiation/implantation induced modification of oxide nanoparticles and thin films at Inter University Accelerator Centre, New Delhi India (from 2008 to 2013). She received JRF and SRF fellowships under IUAC, New Delhi sponsored research project. Her area of research interest is the synthesis of different Nanostructures and thin films for supercapacitor, catalyst, magnetic, and bio applications. She has published more than 60+ research papers/book chapters in international journals/books. She is serving as reviewer, editorial board member and guest editor in several scientific and academic journals.
