About
I have built a broad scientific foundation starting from my training at NISER, India, where I worked on protein expression, purification, and crystallography. During my Ph.D. at KIIT University, Bhubaneswar, India, I expanded my skills across ex vivo, in vitro, in vivo, in ovo, and in silico models to understand how PARP1-driven chromatin remodeling and epigenetic changes regulate DNA repair, transcriptional activation of oncogenes, and tumor angiogenesis. My research encompasses multiple dimensions of cancer, including epigenetic modifications, DNA repair mechanisms, cancer immunology, metabolism, as well as studies on virus-related cancers and nanotechnology-driven therapies. Many of these studies have been published in peer-reviewed journals. Looking ahead, I am strongly motivated to work in cancer epigenetics, cancer immunology, and cancer metabolism, where I can explore how molecular mechanisms drive cancer progression and therapeutic responses, and identify ways to overcome these processes to improve treatment outcomes.
