About

Myself Dr. Biswajit Mallick, Scientist and actively engaged in 3MV Tandem Pelletron Accelerator based Research & Developmental work at the Institute of Physics, Bubaneswar since 2002. As to my educational qualification I have completed M. Sc Physics with X-Rays as my special paper from P.G. Department of Physics, Regional Engineering College, presently National Institute of Technology (NIT), Rourkela in 1996 and stood First Class First position in the batch. My Research interest and expertise in X-Ray Physics, Experimental Condensed Matter Physics, Accelerator based Ion beam techniques, Nuclear Radiation techniques, etc. As to my R&D experience, I have nearly 16 years of Research and Teaching experience. My research include a Microstrain analysis of Radiation induced materials, Discovery of a new X-Ray effect, i.e., anti-Compton effect , a PATENT, A new method for fiber density measurement, A new technique for synthesis of SiC, an invention of Fast acting Puncture valve and few more new techniques. I have around 38 PEER–REVIEWED publications which includes 6 single-authored papers, 4 Books, 3 Lab manuals & proceedings, and about 75 conference (National & International) papers to my credit.
