About
I am a Molecular Oncologist and Scientist in the Department of Biochemistry at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Patna, India, with over a decade of research experience and a PhD in Cancer Genetics. My work focuses on cancer genomics, epigenetics, and molecular diagnostics, with foundational research on PTEN gene expression in colorectal carcinoma. I have developed expertise in next-generation sequencing (NGS), gene expression profiling, immunohistochemistry, and cancer cell biology, contributing to the understanding of molecular mechanisms in colorectal, gallbladder, and periampullary cancers.
My research on PTEN mutations and methylation patterns has supported biomarker discovery and precision medicine approaches. I have received several national and international awards, presented at major global oncology and hematology conferences, and authored over 50 peer-reviewed publications. I also serve as a reviewer and guest editor for high-impact journals. My current interests include multi-omics profiling in solid tumors and molecular surveillance of infectious diseases with oncologic relevance, alongside mentoring and advancing research innovation in academic medicine.
