About
Prashant Kumar is currently pursing PhD from IIT Kanpur. His research topics centers on System Identification / Parameter estimation using Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning, biologically inspired Optimization Techniques, UAS Design, Linear and Non-Linear Control system design, Vision based Guidance and Path Planning. He completed his MTech, in Aerospace Engineering (Flight Dynamics and Control) from IIT Kanpur and BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from MNNIT, Allahabad. He has successfully completed many industrial projects and has experience in interdisciplinary domain like Configuration Design and validation of two-seater passenger VTOL Air Taxi for VTOL Aviation India Ltd, High altitude unmanned aircraft (Tata Advance Systems and Real Time Vision Based Tracking. He has also worked on control system designing for “Autonomous flight test of a low RCS high speed aircraft configuration with ducted fan for multiple flight modes” a project by ADA (DRDO).
