About
I am currently pursuing my PhD in Life Sciences at JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research, Mysuru. My research focuses on steroid insensitivity in chronic pulmonary diseases, particularly severe asthma and COPD. I am actively involved in projects related to oxidative stress, host–microbiome interactions, and clinical cohort studies.
My work includes measuring total antioxidant capacity, lipid peroxidation, and inflammatory markers, with a special focus on the gut–lung axis and environmental exposures. I am also contributing to intervention trials that combine nutritional and lifestyle approaches.
I am passionate about translational research that connects molecular science with community-level impact. My long-term vision is to contribute to public health through clean air initiatives, planetary health, and integrative biomedical research.
