With more than 13 years of experience in industry – academia Dr. Datta served as a Researcher at Motorola Nano fabrication Lab. Florida, USA, where she with her research team experimentally demonstrated (first time in the world) charge transport through a single DNA molecule that got published in Nano Letters, besides being widely reported in international media.
Apart from academia, Dr. Datta has an exposure to industrial settings, as she worked at Oncocare India Pvt. Ltd., Goa and at Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, Hyderabad.
So far, Dr. Datta has published 28 papers in high impact International Journals, 1 patent, i Book chapter (in Bentham Science), presented in several international conferences in India and in the USA. She has won the Best Presenter Award in a National and International Conferences in the years 2018, 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026.
