About

I am currently working as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Faculty of Environmental Earth Science, Hokkaido University, Japan. My research focuses on GeoAI, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Remote Sensing, and environmental sustainability. I work on integrating Earth Observation (EO) data, machine learning, and geospatial analytics to address challenges related to climate change, disaster risk reduction, hydrology, biodiversity conservation, and land-use dynamics.

My research interests include flood hazard assessment, riverbank erosion, groundwater scarcity, air-quality monitoring, heatwave analysis, and spatiotemporal land-use/land-cover change detection. I specialize in cloud-based geospatial processing using Google Earth Engine and advanced GIS platforms such as ArcGIS Pro and ENVI/ERDAS. I also utilize AI and deep learning frameworks including TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn for predictive environmental modeling and explainable AI applications.

My work emphasizes reproducible geospatial workflows and the development of practical, data-driven solutions for climate resilience, sustainability planning, and environmental monitoring. I have authored and co-authored research articles in international journals indexed in SCOPUS, Web of Science, and SCI/SCIE databases, and actively participate in interdisciplinary and international research collaborations.
