About
Dr. Shilpy Singh is currently Assistant Professor of Biotechnology and Microbiology in School of Science at Noida International University, Noida, U.P, India. She finished her Doctorate in Sept. 2019 from Department of Agricultural Biotechnology, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology, Meerut. In 2019 she joined Mangalmay Institute of Management and Technology, Gr. Noida. She also worked as a trainee at DRDE, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. Her research area focus on virus- induced gene silencing, genome wide analysis, functional characterization of Transcription factors, heavy metals induced oxidative stress, In silco analysis, In Vitro callus induction and plant regeneration, genetic fidelity, Computational modelling, and molecular docking studies. In addition to his research work she was assisting and supervising students at graduate, masters level in various capacities. Her research work led to 15 publications and 7 book chapters. She also published 2 national and 2 international patents. For her research work she also got best young faculty, young researcher and poster presentation award. She is also frequently called upon as a reviewer for numerous international scientific journals and peer-reviewed conference proceedings.
