About
Shiv Kumar is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Delhi, India. He received his Bachelor's degree in Chemistry (honors) from Kirorimal College, University of Delhi, India in 2008. He then moved to Bengaluru to pursue higher education. He graduated with a Master's and a Ph.D. degree from the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru, India in 2016. Prior to joining the current position, he worked as a SERB-National Postdoctoral Fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, India (2016-2017), a Marie-Curie Fellow at the University of St Andrews, United Kingdom (2017-2020), and a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Free University of Brussels (Université Libre de Bruxelles, ULB), Belgium (2020-2023). He has also been a visiting researcher at the University of Salento, Italy (2011), the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom (2013), and Kyushu University, Japan (2014). His research interest focused on the development of organic semiconductors for flexible organic optoelectronics.
