About

Dr. Anshu Gupta is Ph.D., M.Phil., and Post Graduate (gold medallist) in Operational Research from the Department of Operational Research, University of Delhi. With over 15 years of experience in teaching and research, she is currently serving as an Associate Professor at the School of Management, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University Delhi, India. Her academic and research expertise spans Operations Management, Supply chain Management, Operations Research, and Research Methods, with a strong interdisciplinary focus. Dr. Gupta has a distinguished publication record in leading national and international journals indexed by Taylor & Francis, Wiley, Springer, Emerald, Inderscience, Elsevier, among others. Her key research interests include the circular economy, gig economy, quality management, supply chain management, marketing analytics, and scale development. She is the co-author of the book Software Reliability Assessment with OR Applications (Springer), co-editor of Retail Marketing in India: Trends and Future Insights (Emerald Publishing), and co-author of a chapter in the Wiley Encyclopedia of Operations Research and Management Science.

A life member of the Society for Reliability Engineering, Quality and Operations Management (SREQOM) and the Operational Research Society of India, she has actively contributed to numerous national and international conferences, seminars, and capacity-building programs. She is also a recipient of the Young Author of the Year Award (2009) by SREQOM, and the Research Award by Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University Delhi for three consecutive years (2022–2024). Dr. Gupta serves on the review boards of several reputed journals and is actively involved in research supervision, professional development, co-curricular and extension activities, and academic leadership.
