Anju Dinkar

About

Dr. Anju Dinkar is a dedicated microbiologist with a strong academic and professional background in medical microbiology. She completed her postgraduate training in Microbiology at King George’s Medical University (KGMU), Lucknow, followed by Senior Residency at Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS), Lucknow.

Her academic career began in 2015, when she joined as Assistant Professor in the Department of Microbiology, Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS), Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi. She served in this position until 2019, and subsequently held the role of Associate Professor in the same department from 2019 to February 2023.

On 22nd February 2023, Dr. Dinkar rejoined SGPGIMS, Lucknow, as Assistant Professor in the Department of Microbiology, where she continues to contribute to teaching, research, and diagnostic microbiology.

With her experience across two premier institutions of India—BHU and SGPGIMS—Dr. Anju Dinkar has developed expertise in both academic and clinical microbiology. Her contributions span postgraduate teaching, guiding research, and delivering quality diagnostic services.
