About
Dr. Md. Abdur Rahim is a distinguished academic and researcher in the field of Computer Science and Engineering. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from The University of Aizu, Japan. Prior to that, he completed his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in 2008 and Master of Science (M.Sc.) in 2009 in Computer Science and Engineering from University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh.
Dr. Rahim is currently serving as a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Pabna University of Science and Technology, Bangladesh. Throughout his academic career, he has contributed significantly to teaching, research, and academic administration. Earlier, he worked as a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Uttara University, Dhaka, and as an Assistant Programmer at Bangladesh Computer Council.
His research interests encompass Human-Computer Interaction, Pattern Recognition, Computer Vision and Image Processing, Human Recognition, and Machine Intelligence. Dr. Rahim has published numerous journal articles and conference papers in reputable venues and actively serves as a reviewer for several SCIE-indexed journals.
In addition to his academic and research activities, Dr. Rahim is actively engaged in social and professional services. He has served in several important roles at Pabna University of Science and Technology, including:
