Dr. Mohammad Kamran Khan has done B.D.S and M.D.S. (Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry) from Government Dental College (Dr. Ziauddin Ahmad Dental College Hospital) highly reputed Central University of India i.e. Aligarh Muslim University (A.M.U.), Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, India.
Dr. Kamran has been working as an Assistant Professor (Senior Lecturer) in Department of Pediatric & Preventive Dentistry, I.T.S Dental College, Hospital & Research Centre, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India.
Dr. Kamran has worked as Assistant Professor of Pediatric Dentistry in Government Dental Institute (Dr.ZADCH), A.M.U., Uttar Pradesh, India.
He has also been a Lecturer in Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry Department of MRDC, Faridabad (Delhi-NCR), Haryana, India. He has ample experience of academic teaching and clinical training of pediatric dentistry of undergraduate and postgraduate students of BDS and MDS courses.
Dr. Khan has quite good experience and keen interest in scientific research activities related to Pediatric Dentistry. He has several scientific research articles as the first and corresponding author published in national and international peer-reviewed journals indexed in PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science (WoS), EBSCO, DOAJ, etc. His several original research articles are focused on dental traumatology. He has also been performing Systematic Reviews which have been registered in PROSPERO. Several Systematic Reviews have been accepted by prestigious journals in year 2024 for publishing which are indexed in PubMed, Scopus, etc. Furthermore, he also has good experience of advanced statistical analysis methods including applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Dental Traumatology which have been published/accepted for publishing in the reputed peer-reviewed journals indexed in PubMed/Medline/Scopus/EBSCO/WoS, etc.
Dr. Kamran's Thesis was based on the epidemiological cross-sectional study which had several aims and objectives, multiple variables/ factors of TDIs and relations/associations among them were assessed and analyzed. He had published several research articles in peer-reviewed dental journals indexed in PubMed, SCOPUS having different objectives, findings/results of various factors/ variables and exploring or analyzing complex relations or association among different factors/variables (dependent/independent) of Dental traumatic injuries by using different advanced statistical techniques (Deep learning/machine leaning based-statistical methods) and thus, his articles contributed substantial new and unique knowledge to the literature related to dental traumatology.
Dr. Kamran regularly attends and participates in the scientific conferences, conventions, symposiums, workshops, CDE programs (Continuing Dental Education programs), seminars and webinars to remain updated and keep upgraded in the specialty of pediatric and Preventive Dentistry. He has presented many scientific papers in the national and international conferences/congresses/conventions. He recently presented a comprehensive scoping review in International Digital Dentistry Congress, Indian Dental Association (IDA) in Mumbai, 8th -9th 2024.
Dr. Kamran is also an active Life-Member of various prestigious Professional National and International Scientific societies and associations of Dentistry such as IADR-Indian division/section (ISDR), ISPPD, ISDT and SAAPD.
Dr. Kamran is also a reviewer of reputed, international dental journals indexed in PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, Ebsco, Embase, etc. He also has chaired scientific sessions of PG's scientific papers/posters presentations in the National dental conference of ISPPD in India.
He has been a Guest Speaker in International Conference, Pediatric Dentistry and has also been invited as speaker in an international dental conference in 2023.
