About
I would like to state that I am a professional with interdisciplinary approach and nature. My area of research and teaching covers a wide range of Physics Courses like Engineering/Applied Physics, Optics, Electromagnetic Theory, Optical Communication, Photonic Crystals, Antenna Theory, Lasers, etc. I have more than 20 years of teaching experience (including 4 years (2017-2021) of international experience at Jubail University College, Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, Jubail, Saudi Arabia) to teach undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate courses in Engineering/Technology/Applied Science discipline. Currently, I am working as an Associate Professor at the Department of Applied Science and Humanities, MRK Institute of Engineering. & Technology, Rewari, Haryana, India.
I served at the Department of General Studies, Jubail University College, Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, Jubail, Saudi Arabia from December 2017 to November 2021 as Assistant Professor. Following is the brief of the role and responsibilities performed there:
• Taught General Physics – I and General Physics – II, and Maths for management.
• Discharged the additional administrative responsibilities of
o Physics Course Director
o Member of Department Quality Committee (DQC)
• Physics Representative for ABET and NCAAA accreditation.
• Published 8 research papers in SCI indexed journals of international reputes.
• Organized 4th Annual Science, Technology, Engineering, Education and Mathematics Symposium (STEEM), November, 11-12, 2020 at Jubail University College, Jubail Saudi Arabia, as Coordinator of the event.
Prior to this, I worked at various levels starting from Lecturer to an Associate Professor at Amity Institute of Telecom Engineering and Management, Amity University, UP, India for about eleven years where I taught Engineering/Applied Physics courses from basic to advanced level. Also, I involved in designing undergraduate and postgraduate program in engineering and physics. My career started as a Lecturer at Banasthali University, Rajasthan where I worked for three years from July 2003 to June 2006. This gave me the foundation in physics and taught various Physics/Electronics subjects at M. Sc. and B. Sc. Levels.
My educational qualifications includes the following
• Ph.D. in Physics (Photonics)
• M.Tech. in Laser Science & Applications
• M.Sc. in Physics
I am a member of some professional bodies like
• Senior Member, IEEE.
• Fellow, IETE, India.
• Life member, Indian Laser Association (ILA).
Along with teaching learning, I am involved in research in the field of photonic crystal, optical communication, and Antenna Theory. I have published more than 50 research papers in Journals/Conferences of International repute. Also, I am a reviewer of some International Journals of repute like IEEE, Elsevier, etc.
