About
Dr. M. KAVITHA completed her Ph.D. in Computer and Information Technology from Manonmaniam Sundaranar University [Government of Tamilnadu], Tirunelveli, where her doctoral research addressed the development of advanced deep learning frameworks for accurate skin lesion detection and classification. Her research focuses on Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, and Medical Image Processing, with particular emphasis on computer-aided diagnosis of skin cancer using dermoscopic image analysis. Her research aims to contribute to early diagnosis and intelligent clinical decision-support systems by integrating computational intelligence with medical imaging.
Over the years, she has actively contributed to high-impact scholarly publications in reputed international journals and conference proceedings. Her research work involves deep neural networks, convolutional neural networks (CNN), image segmentation, feature extraction, and classification models for healthcare analytics. She has been engaged in interdisciplinary research collaborations, contributing to the advancement of AI-driven healthcare technologies and intelligent diagnostic systems.

She has also presented a significant number of research and technical papers in international and national journals and conferences.
