About
I received a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Kyung Hee University, South Korea, in 2014.
I am currently a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of New Mexico, USA, where I focus on advancing high-field MRI techniques for both research and clinical applications.
My research interests span Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Magnetic Resonance Electrical Impedance Tomography (MREIT), MR-based Current Density Imaging (MR-CDI), transcranial electrical stimulation (tDCS/tACS), biomedical image processing, and electronics hardware design. I am particularly interested in developing novel imaging methods that combine advanced hardware and computational techniques to better understand brain function and pathology.
