DR. THANIKAISELVAN V received his PhD in Information security from Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore, Tamilnadu, in 2014. He received MTech in Advanced Communication Systems from SASTRA Deemed University, Thanjavur, in 2006 and B.E in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Bharathidasan University, Trichy, in 2002. He joined Vellore Institute of Technology in 2006 as a Lecturer. Currently working as a Professor in the School of Electronics Engineering and Assistant Director – The Directorate of Quality Assurance and Accreditation, Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore. His teaching and research interest include Digital communication, Wireless communication, Digital signal and Image Processing, Wireless Sensor Networks and Information Security. He has published more than 100 research articles in peer-reviewed SCOPUS-indexed journals and conferences. He has supervised 6 PhD scholars and supervising 5 PhD. Scholars in the areas of Information Security and Digital Image Processing. Also, He received 2 funded projects from DRDO. He is an active IEEE member and reviewer for Elsevier, Wiley and Springer journals.
