About

I am microbiologist and immunologist specializing in T-lymphocyte development and Myeloid Derived Suppressor Cells(MDSCs). I have completed my Ph.D. in Medical Microbiology from the University of Delhi in July 2023, focusing my thesis on the "Role of myeloid-derived suppressor cells in regulating T cells in pemphigus vulgaris".
My academic journey began at Banaras Hindu University, where he earned his B.Sc. in Chemistry (2008-2011) and M.Sc. in Biotechnology (2011-2013). My master's dissertation involved computational identification and characterization of WRKY gene family members in Phaseolus Vulgaris L.
Throughout My career, I have received numerous awards and fellowships, including grants from FIMSA, IUIS, ISHAM and the Immunology Foundation. I was selected as one of ten young immunologists globally for an exclusive opportunity to meet Nobel Prize winners at the 18th International Congress of Immunology 2023 in South Africa.
My research interests focus on T-lymphocyte development, antibody repertoire generation in infection and autoimmunity, and myeloid-derived suppressor cells in relation to therapeutic strategies for infectious and autoimmune diseases. I have contributed to multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals, covering topics such as pemphigus vulgaris, COVID-19, fungal infections, and immunological responses in various diseases.
