About
Dr. Mohd Yusuf is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the College of Engineering at the prestigious King Faisal University, Saudi Arabia. He has a rich experience of working in research and teaching in Canada, South America, Malaysia, India, and Vietnam. He was registered as an 'Engineer-in-Training' (EIT) by the 'Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan', Canada. He is ranked amongst the top 2% scientists of the world as per the Stanford University rankings released by Elsevier for the two consecutive years (i.e., 2024 & 2025). He is also working as a Visiting Professor at the prestigious UNIVERSIDAD UTE, Ecuador, South America. He worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Petroleum Engineering, Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, Malaysia (i.e., *among the top 20 Petroleum Engineering Departments in the world as per QS 2024 rankings). He is a former Head of the Department and Assistant Professor in the Department of Petroleum Engineering at Glocal University, India. He has a demonstrated history of working in the education management industry with versatile skills in Chemical & Petroleum Engineering. He published around 100+ research/review articles in international journals with significant impact factors (total impact factor till date = 600+, h index = 42 [SCOPUS]). He delivered several lectures in national/international seminars/webinars and presented at several reputed international conferences. He is also currently serving as an "Academic Editor" in 'PLOS ONE' journal (JCR Q1), “Associate Editor-in-chief” in the prestigious International Journal of Applied Science and Engineering (Scopus Indexed), Academic Editor in "The Scientific World Journal" (Scopus) and in several other journals. He is also serving as a scientific reviewer in around 30+ reputed journals from Elsevier, Springer, Nature, Taylor & Francis, PLOS ONE, and MDPI publications. His research interests include Hydrogen, Green Energy, Catalysis, Biomass valorization, CO2 Valorization, Gas Reforming, Sustainability, CCUS, Modelling, Optimization, Hydrocarbon recovery, and Materials and characterization.
