Divya Sharma is a passionate and dedicated mathematician who has always inspired her students to succeed in the classroom and appreciate the wisdom of numbers in practical life settings. She has always told her students that more than solving questions, math is a way to approach situations and navigate your way through them with a rational outlook.
She holds a doctorate in mathematics from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida, India, in the area of Fuzzy Optimization. Prior to that, she has done Masters in Mathematics from Hansraj College, Delhi University. She amassed expertise in various modern mathematical tools such as Excel Solver, Matlab, Lingo, and R. This shaped her expertise in a niche that allowed her to become an Assistant Professor of Mathematics. Over the course of the seven years that she has spent as an academician, her lectures have been viewed by lakhs of students on YouTube. She has published extensively in high-quality, peer-reviewed journals that are indexed by SCI and SCOPUS. Besides, she has participated in various workshops on co-creating MOOCS, Fuzzy logic, Soft computing techniques, to name a few, offered by Delhi University, Soft Computing Research Society, etc.
