Senior Professor and former Dean, Physical Research Laboratory, Ahmedabad. Principal Investigator (PI) from 2008 to 2021 of the Aditya Solarwind Particle Experiment (ASPEX) onboard ISROs ADITYA-L1 Mission to the L1 Lagrangian point of the Sun-Earth system. Member of the science team of the Chandrayaan-II, X-Ray Solar Monitor (XSM) payload. Research interests in Solar Radio Astronomy, Solar wind, Space weather, Solar Magnetic fields, comets and Astrophysical ices and shock processing of molecules.
