About
Sanjeev Kumar Das (PhD) is a geologist, mineral process engineer, expert in waste management, reduction behavior of difficult to treat low grade friable and laminated iron ore and sustainable environmental management. He takes his entire education from Mangilal Rungta High School and Tata College Chaibasa; situated in the undeveloped rural belt of Kolhan, well known for its forest and mining wealth. He has keen interest to know the process of formation of geological feature and the economic resources found underneath the earth. So he takes initiative to go beyond the books. In this regard he did Masters of Arts in Rural Development from Indira Gandhi National Open University, Delhi. During the study he felt there is huge maladjustment in rural lives. As career begins in geology, he intended to take interest in research. He joins National Institute Technology Jamshedpur Jharkhand for further study. As discussed, the area is far from industrialization and economic growth. He try to make efforts for the upliftment of society During preliminary study of the area he found that there is a huge possibility of economic development through the mining wastes generated in or around the mining site. It also gives psyche of hope for iron and steel industry. He did a commendable job. Through his research he tried to establish some positive aspects of ore. It may help in formulating the new plan. He has 04 (four) peer review high indexed science citation index journal. He also published a book with Grin Publication Germany. He has also published 04 (four) international conference paper and 15(fifteen) abstract in different national and international symposium, seminars and technical events. He presented 03 (three) papers in reputed national events. He also attended various technical webinars. Presently he is associated as alumni in Department of Geology, Kolhan University, Chaibasa, West Singhbhum, Jharkhand. He is hard working, good moral and self-aware person.
