Dilawar Ahmad Bhat, working as Assistant Professor in Symbiosis School of Banking and Finance, Symbiosis International University, Pune. Prior to joining Symbiosis International University he worked as assistant professor in the Institute of Business Management, GLA University, Mathura and School of Business, Woxsen University, Hyderabad.Has done PhD (BITS Pilani), MBA, MCOM (with SET, NET, JRF). He was a doctoral student in the Department of Management, BITS Pilani, Pilani Campus, in the area of Banking, Economics and Finance. The thrust of his research work is on credit risk and soft budget constraints in the banking sector of India. He has already published a paper in a Scopus and ABDC ranked journal and other papers are in the pipeline for publishing.
He has a teaching experience of 5 years at university level. He has taught corporate finance, quantitative methods, Financial Management, Introductory Actuarial Science, Consumer Behavior and Portfolio Management in Central University of Kashmir, Islamic University of Science and Technology and BITS Pilani.
Dilawar Ahmad's specific areas of interest in research are behavioral finance, alternate finance, financial valuation. His teaching interests include Security Analysis and Portfolio Management; Corporate Finance and Behavioral Finance
