Dr. Anuraj Nayarisseri is a computational biologist, bioinformatician, and Healthcare Data Scientist with over 18 years of experience in bioinformatics, computational biology, next-generation sequencing (NGS), machine learning, Artificial intelligence, and precision medicine. He serves as the Principal Scientist and Director of Eminent Biosciences, India, where he leads multidisciplinary research focused on integrating genomics, artificial intelligence, and clinical data to improve disease diagnosis, biomarker discovery, drug discovery, and personalized medicine.
His research interests include cancer genomics, transcriptomics, metagenomics, single-cell and spatial transcriptomics, clinical bioinformatics, pharmacogenomics, systems biology, and the development of AI-driven computational methods for biomedical research. He has authored more than 190 peer-reviewed scientific publications in international journals and has contributed extensively to genomic data generation by depositing over 120,000 nucleotide sequences in the NCBI GenBank database. His work emphasizes translating advanced computational approaches into practical clinical and biomedical applications.
Dr. Nayarisseri actively collaborates with researchers, clinicians, hospitals, and academic institutions worldwide to advance translational genomics, precision medicine, and data-driven healthcare. In addition to his research, he is dedicated to mentoring students and professionals through advanced training in bioinformatics, NGS data analysis, machine learning, and clinical genomics, helping develop the next generation of computational biologists and biomedical scientists.
