Dr. Alka Lohani is an Associate Professor at the Amity Institute of Pharmacy, Amity University, Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India.
With over 13 years of academic and research experience, Dr. Lohani has established expertise in dermatology, cosmetic formulation development, transdermal drug delivery, nanotechnology, and polymer-based drug delivery systems. Her work has received international recognition, including prestigious grants from the International Brain Research Organization. She was awarded the IBRO International Travel Grants to attend Neuroscience Schools in Nepal (2024) and Hyderabad (2022) and earned the “Best Dream Project” award at the IBRO Neuroscience School Nepal 2024.
In 2026, Dr. Lohani further strengthened her global academic profile by receiving a competitive grant for Brain Awareness Week 2026, jointly supported by IBRO and the Dana Foundation, recognizing her contributions to neuroscience outreach and public engagement.
Dr. Lohani has authored several research articles published with leading international publishers. She has edited 04 books and contributed multiple book chapters with reputed publishers such as Elsevier, Nova Science Publishers, and Apple Academic Press. Additionally, she holds three patent publications and one design patent.
She actively contributes to the scientific community as a reviewer for several high-impact journals.
