Dr. Soni Sweta, Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from BIT, Mesra Ranchi is presently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at MPSTME,NMIMS, Mumbai. She received her Master of Technology degree from Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal. She is presently guiding many M.C.A Scholars and B.Tech Students and two PhD scholars. Previously she had guided many M.Tech, MCA ,BCA and B.Tech students in their Dissertation and final capstron Project work. Her present areas of research are Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, Soft Computing, Data Mining, Machine Learning, Data Science.
Being a Member of IEEE and Life Member of CSI(India), she is associated with few reputed journals as a reviewer and member in editorial board. She had acted as a technical committee member in many reputed conferences so far. Apart from she authoring 2 international books published by Springer Nature, edited two books and published 10 book chapters and many conference papers, she had published several SCI/Scopus-indexed papers with high-impact peer-reviewed International journals. She is an examiner for many Courses of Computer Science including Ph.D thesis evaluation in several universities across India. Dr. Soni Sweta had worked as Assistant Professor and visiting faculty in Computer Science & Engineering Departments of different Engineering Colleges for more than 17 years.
