About

An experienced faculty, researcher and medical educator around 12 years of progressive post-MD experience in Community Medicine, Public Health, and Epidemiology. Currently Associate Professor at TRIHMS, Arunachal Pradesh, where she played a foundational role in establishing the Department of Community Medicine from inception (first batch 2018). Her research portfolio spans ~55 peer-reviewed publications (17 PubMed-indexed, 20+ Scopus-indexed, including overlap) with active ICMR-, UNICEF-, and institutionally-funded projects (incl. an international faculty-development study in West Africa); her education credentials include a FAIMER Fellowship (2021–23) and roles as BCME Trainer, MEU Faculty, Founder Editor of the TRIHMS Medical Journal, and Examination Coordinator. Thematic expertise covers NE India field epidemiology, NCDs, maternal and child health, One Health, nutrition, menstrual hygiene, and health systems.
