About
Sayani Das is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Department of Social Work, Bar-Ilan University, Israel, specializing in geriatric health. She holds a PhD (2023) in Anthropology from the University of Calcutta, India, and an MPhil (2017) in Anthropology from the University of Delhi, India. Her research focuses on holistic health, geriatric epidemiology, and frailty syndrome, with publications in leading journals such as the Journals of Gerontology, Asian Journal of Psychiatry, Aging International, the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health, and more. Previously, she worked as a Senior Research Officer (2022-2024) at IIHMR-Delhi and as a Consultant (2020-2022) for the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India.
