About
I am a Junior Research Scientist in the GENDER Project at the International Institute for Population Sciences.
I completed my PhD is Biostatistics and Demography from the International Institute for Population Sciences.
My research primarily focuses on the empirical analysis of population health and well-being using standard and advanced statistical and epidemiological methods. More specifically, my research interest includes studying the dynamics of gender inequality due to household/family hierarchy, community effects on health, transition-specific risk factors of co-morbid diseases, and trends and risk factors of early childhood mortality, adult mortality, and undernutrition.
Some of the advanced statistical methods I used in my research include parametric survival analysis with shared frailty, spatially explicit structural equation model, multilevel model, multistage or multistate model, and LiST-based projection.
I use R software and STATA predominantly (but not limited to) for reproducible reporting of my research findings.
