About
Dr. Gordhan Jethava holds a Ph.D. and M.Tech. in Computer Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Surat (an Institute of National Importance under the Government of India), completed in 2022 and 2010, respectively. He earned his B.E. in Computer Engineering from AITS, Rajkot, in 2004. Dr. Jethava has been a Director (Partnerships with Institutes of National Importance) and an Associate Professor in the Information Technology Department at Parul University, Vadodara, Gujarat. He has more than 20 years of teaching, research and administrative experience.
He successfully secured a Rs. 3,50,000/- grant from AICTE for ATAL-FDP and coordinated the program in December 2023. Dr. Jethava is a recognized Ph.D. guide at Parul University, supervising six Ph.D. scholars. He supervised 29 M. E. / M. Tech. dissertations and 2 are ongoings. He has published 66 research papers extensively in Journals, book chapters and refereed conference proceedings. He has published two design patents, and two books with the Internation publishers. Dr. Jethava received the Research Excellence Award 2023 from InSc International Publishers. He serves as reviewer for several international journals. He contributed as a session chair and reviewer for international conferences. Additionally, he is a Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5. His research interests focus on security and trust management in online social networks, cybersecurity, information and network security, cloud and fog computing, machine learning, and AI.
Dr. Jethava has been affiliated with Parul University since 2005. His administrative roles at Parul University include Director (Partnerships with Institutes of National Importance), Head of the CSE, IT, and ICT departments from 2017 to 2022 at PIT and Head of the IT department from 2010 to 2016 at PIET. He has also served on the Academic Inspection Team for GTU, and coordinated NBA, NAAC, and NIRF activities. He is a Board of Study member in various departments at Gyanmanjari Innovative University, Vidhyadeep University and Parul University. He qualified GATE in 2007 (CSE) and 2008 (IT). He has co-convened the NCEVT national conference series.
