About
I have an educational background in various disciplines of chemistry from the India's most renowned undergraduate institute (IIT Bombay); theoretical chemistry graduate training under Prof. Henry F. Schaefer III (from the Center of Computational and Quantum Chemistry at University of Georgia Athens, GA USA), and the post-doctoral training of modelling surface reactions under Prof. Jens K. Nørskov (Stanford University and Technical University of Denmark).
I specialize in modelling homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysis reactions with emphasis on active surface, reaction mechanisms, role of solvents and additives, reaction trends, etc. My current projects involve materials discovery for electrocatalytic fuel cell and nitrogen oxidation reactions, and method development for molecular/surface reactions using density functional theory and data intensive machine learning methods.
