About
Dr. Aritra Dutta is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at ITER, Siksha ’O’ Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar. She completed her B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Mathematics at Jadavpur University as an INSPIRE Scholar, and earned her Ph.D. from Jadavpur University with research carried out at the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata in Complementarity Theory and Optimization. She later served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at IIIT Bangalore on a Mphasis-funded Deep Learning project. Her research spans Optimization, Game Theory, Variational Inequalities, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning, with contributions published in leading SCI/ESCI indexed international journals (Q2/Q3) and some book chapters. An INSPIRE Fellow, CSIR-JRF awardee, GATE rank holder, and reviewer for reputed journals including JOTA, JAAC, and JCAM, she actively contributes to mathematical sciences and theoretical as well as data-driven optimization, and its applications in machine learning and deep learning.
