Shila Mishra is a distinguished economist and author with a Ph.D. in Economics from RUDN University, Moscow. An accomplished academic, she previously taught economics and business management at her alma mater before returning to Nepal in 2021. Dr. Mishra's research focuses on international economics and management, including her influential doctoral thesis on foreign direct investment's impact on Nepal's economic growth. She has collaborated with prominent researchers in the USA and Russia and served as a Research Associate at Nepal's National Planning Commission, significantly contributing to the country's economic development. Currently, she is a member of the Province Policy Planning & Commission in Madhesh Pradesh.
