About
I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Physics at the University of Illinois Chicago. My research focuses on experimental high-energy nuclear and particle physics, with an emphasis on understanding quantum chromodynamics (QCD) through studies of small and large collision systems at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC).
I pursued my Ph.D. at Bose Institute, India, where I was a member of the ALICE Collaboration and studied jet properties and fragmentation in small collision systems. I am currently a member of the CMS Collaboration, where I work on strange hadron (V0) production in jets, heavy-ion physics, and the validation of photon and electron reconstruction algorithms.
My research interests include jet physics, jet fragmentation, strange particle production, hadronization, the quark-gluon plasma, and precision measurements in high-energy collisions.
