Dr. Gaurav Kumar is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Division of Clinical Research, Department of Biosciences, School of Basic and Applied Sciences, Galgotias University, Gr. Noida, UP. He is also Institution's Innovation Council In-Charge and Nodal Officer of Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA) at Galgotias University. He obtained his Ph.D. degree from the School of Biomedical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi, UP. Hitherto, He served as Asst. Professor, Shobhit University, Gangoh, Saharanpur, and Assistant Professor at Shobhit University, Meerut; Lecturer at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology, Meerut and Research trainee at CSIR- Central Scientific Instrumentation Organization, Chandigarh. He is selected for the PostDoc Associate at University of Louisville, USA, DST INSPIRE Fellowship, and Qualified GATE in Biotechnology. He received several awards including, Innovation Ambassador from Ministry of Education, Top-5 Researcher of Galgotias University, Best Faculty of Biotechnology from William Research Centre, Nagercoil, Tamil Nadu, and Gold Medal in Master of Technology (Biotechnology) from Shobhit University, Meerut. His research acumen and inclination in various disciplines such as Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Life Sciences, and Herbal Study in medicine establish him as a young researcher and educationalist.
He has published 40 research/review papers in reputed SCI/SCI-E/SCOPUS and peer-reviewed Journals. He has published 14 National & International Patents. He has also published 2 Books and 6 Book Chapters. He has presented his research work at several international and national conferences in India and abroad.He is an active member of several reputed scientific societies including, the Society for Neuro Chemistry India, IRED, Indian Academy of Neurosciences, IAENG, SRDA, and IEEE. He is also working as Editorial Board and Reviewer Board of various SCI-indexed Journals. He has organized more than 200 national and international level events including conferences, workshops, seminars, expert talks and FDPs. He worked as Coordinator of ATAL FDP, Toycathon, Smart India Hackathon and AIU North Zone Vice Chancellors’ Meet at Galgotias University, Greater Noida. He has delivered 20+ Invited Talks in workshops, Conferences, and FDPs. He has supervised and currently supervising 25 UG/PG and Ph.D. scholars.
