About

Dr. Meghna Chhabra is an academician with more than 15 years of teaching and corporate experience across institutions in India. She has done her executive education in “Design Thinking” from Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Her Ph.D. is from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore in Studying Gender Gap in Small and Micro Enterprises in India. Her research interests include Women’s Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurship Education. Her other areas of interest include Sustainable Entrepreneurial Ventures and Sustainable Business Models.
She has also been a State Level Lawn Tennis player. Her vast and varied academic experiences include associations with Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies, Faridabad; K. R. Mangalam University, Gurgaon; Amity Global Business School and Prestige Institute of Management and Research, Indore. Her corporate work experience includes associations with IDBI Bank and IndusInd Bank. She has worked on an Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) sponsored research project on the “Capacity Building of Women Entrepreneurs” and is a recipient of a faculty grant from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Department of Science and Technology (DST). Her recent editorial appointments include; Associate Editor at the Journal of Enterprising Communities: People and Places in the Global Economy (Emerald Publishing) and editorial board member at the journal, International Journal of Technology transfer and Commercialisation (Inderscience Publishers). She is on the review board of many top-tier management journals. She is also on the editorial board of two books published by World Scientific. Dr. Meghna also has more than forty publications in National and International Journals indexed in Scopus, Web of Science, and ABDC including publications in the Journal of Cleaner Production (A), Technological Forecasting and Social Change (A), Journal of Enterprising Communities (C), Business and Society Review (C), and Journal of Tourism Cities (C). She has developed an online course on the Swayam platform named “Creativity and Entrepreneurship”. She has also curated the study scheme and the course components for the MBA-IEV (Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Venture development) AICTE-approved program. Her academic interests lie in the area of Securities and Financial Markets, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Entrepreneurial Finance, and Corporate Entrepreneurship. Her dynamic skillsets include but are not limited to using Vosviewer, NVIVO, QDA, and Excel. She also develops innovative pedagogies based on “Design Thinking” and experiments and implements them successfully to create classroom buzz and invigorate students toward content creation and storytelling. She has also been on the advisory board of “Resilient India,” the 116th Year Book of PHDCCI. She has supervised one Ph.D. and holds three international patents. Dr. Meghna also takes sessions on “Creativity and Design Thinking” as an expert across various institutions pan India.
