About
I grew up in Chennai and attended Anna University. After completing my PhD in Biophysics at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, I spent a year as a post-doctoral clinical research associate at Rajah Muthiah Medical College & Hospital, Annamalai University (Chidambaram). I have held faculty positions at Chettinad Academy of Research and Education (Kelambakkam), and Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering (Sriperumbudur). Since joining the School of Chemical and Biotechnology at SASTRA (Thanjavur) as a faculty member in 2017, I have established and directed the Systems Computational Biology Laboratory. During May-June 2024, I was a visiting SASTRA G-20 faculty and Honorary Associate at the Engineering Representations and Simulation Lab (Department of Mechanical Engineering), University of Wisconsin-Madison, pursuing quantum optimization.
