Aksh Chahal

About

Prof. (Dr.) Aksh Chahal is a Full Professor, Research Coordinator for Department of Physiotherapy. His present duties are to conceptualize and conduct coursework and supervise Ph.D. scholars and teach under and post-graduate students. Dr. Chahal has worked with excelling in research covering different domains of research methodology, orthopedics, sports rehabilitation and human communication in connection to Physiotherapy and associated fields of healthcare. Dr. Chahal puts great emphasis on developing new intervention strategies and drawing evidence based inference from the best treatment and cost effective protocols in treating diseases/impairments/disorders. Dr. Chahal completed his Ph.D. in March, 2014 as Project Fellow in a project funded under Major Research Project category by University Grants Commission from Dept. of Physiotherapy, Punjabi University, Patiala, Punjab, India. He completed MPT in the year 2006 and BPT in 2004, both from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
