Dr. Prasanna Belur D. is a Professor in the Chemical Engineering department, National Institute of Technology Karnataka Surathkal, India. He is a chemical engineer, pursuing research in the area of Biochemical Engineering and allied areas and teach graduate and under-graduate students. His area of interest includes development of various bioprocesses to produce therapeutic enzymes, proteins, probiotics and nematodes, edible oil refining technology and Enzyme technology. He is the recipient of prestigious "Khorana Fellowship" given by DBT, Govt. of India & "Award for outstanding Research Publications" conferred by Vision Group on Science & Technology, Govt. of Karnataka.
