About
I am a Professor in Physics in the Department of Physics, Jamia Millia Islamia. I have completed my PhD in Physics from Central
University of Hyderabad in the year 2000. My M.Sc. is from Aligarh Muslim University and B.Sc. from Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan's New Science College, Hyderabad.
My field of research is Ion-Solid Interaction. The basic interest is in the Utilization of Accelerators for Materials Science Research. I have carried out a series of experiments to characterize Semiconductor Heterostructures using Rutherford Backscattering Spectrometry (RBS)/Channeling. The other characterization technique that has been used as complimentary to RBS/C is High Resolution X-Ray Diffraction.
