About

I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Kansas, studying the structure, dynamics, and function of non-coding RNA elements in the Hepatitis C virus (HCV) genome. My current research combines single-molecule fluorescence techniques, including smFRET, FCS, and FLIM, with biochemical approaches to investigate RNA conformational dynamics and molecular interactions involved in viral regulation.

Previously, my Ph.D. research in Biophysical Chemistry at the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad focused on the structure, dynamics, and interactions of DNA and proteins in biomimetic environments. I investigated DNA methylation, DNA-Protein, DNA-drug and protein-drug interactions, liquid-liquid phase separation, micellar systems, and supramolecular assemblies.

My broader interests include RNA/DNA biophysics, biomolecular dynamics, single-molecule spectroscopy, molecular recognition, and fluorescence-based structural biology.
