Dr. Yogesh Kumar Gupta, Professor in Chemistry and Head Department of Applied Science and Humanities in B. K. Birla Institute of Engineering & Technology, Pilani (Rajasthan), have experience of more than Thirty year in academics and research. He obtained his M.Sc. and Ph. D. degree in Chemistry from Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University, Agra (U.P.) (formerly Agra University Agra) His areas of research interest include Synthesis and Anti Microbial Activities of Schiff Base Metal Complexes. (The Schiff bases and their metal complexes have more importance recently because of their application as biological, biochemical, analytical, antimicrobial, anticancer, antibacterial, antifungal and anti tumor activities), Physico-Chemical Characteristics of Ground Water, Physico-Chemical Studies of Heterocyclic Compounds as Potential Antimicrobial Agents. We would like to extend the work in the same area.

He has published various research papers in reputed national and international journals. He has attended various seminar/conferences and presented his research papers.
