About
Niranjan Mohapatra presently working as LRC Manager, Academy at the Learning Resource Centre of World Skill Center, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India (a premier advanced skill training institute established by the Government of Odisha, Skill Development and Technical Education Department, through the Odisha Skill Development Authority (OSDA). Also, he acts as Academic Counsellor in IGNOU Bhubaneswar and Angul Regional centre. Recently he had set up the newly established Library (World Class Library) at Black Diamond Angul. More than 28 research papers/articles authored by him has been published in different journals/books/newspapers both in national and international level. He qualified UGC NET and eligible for Assistant Professor in Library & Information Science. He is a Ph.D. research scholar at LIS Dept. of Utkal University, Bhubaneswar. He is the founder, designer of DrlibSc's blog (www.drlibsc.com) a professional blog for Library and Information Science (LIS) professionals to share information. He has more than 15 years professional experience in Academic Library Systems at G.L. Bajaj Institute of Technology & Management, Greater Noida; SRIRAM Institute of Management & Technology, Greater Noida; Nabakrushna Choudhury Centre for Development Study, Bhubaneswar (an Indian Council of Social Science Research Institute collaboration with Govt. of Odisha) and World Class Library and modern Auditorium, Black Diamond, Angul. He is an active member of Odisha Library Academy and volunteer of Library Movement Odisha.
