About
Dr.V.Madhavi has been working as Assistant Professor of Engg Chemistry in BVRIT Hyderabad College for Women, Hyderabad since 2014. She completed M.Sc. Chemistry with specialization Environmental Chemistry in 2008 and Doctoral degree in the area of Nanotechnology in 2014 from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupathi. She has 10 years of teaching experience for both UG & PG students. Her areas of interests are Nanotechnology, green synthesis and applications over environmental remediation. Her PhD thesis entitled “Assessment of efficiency of Zerovalent nanoiron for the remediation of Cr (VI) contaminated soils and water”. To her profile, an Indian patent granted (Patent Number: 410482) entitled “Pretreated Rice husk for the Sustainable Graphene Oxide for adsorptive removal of chromium from water”. The other patent is yet to be granted. She is one of the editors of the book entitled “Graphene Hydrogels: Synthesis, properties and Applications” to be published by Elsevier publications. She published 37 articles in various international journals and invited contribution to books. Also participated and presented in around 50 National & International conferences. She is the recipient of “Young Woman in Science” award by Venus International foundation. Her Bibliography is published in “Asia/Pacific Who’s Who” in volume XVI in the year 2018. Dr.V.Madhavi is Life Member of (ISEIS) “International Society for Environmental Information Sciences” and Indian Science Congress Association (ISCA).
