About

Dr. Hemraj Saini is a distinguished Professor in the School of Computing, with a career spanning nearly 25 years in academics, administration, and industry. He has previously held positions at Jaypee University of Information Technology, Waknaghat (2012-2021), AIET, Alwar (2011-2012), OEC, Bhubaneswar (2008-2011), HIE, Baniwalid, Libya (2007-2008), BITS, Pilani (2005-2007), IET, Alwar (2001-2005), REIL, Jaipur (2000-2001), and Dataman System, Delhi (1999-2000). Dr. Saini holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Utkal University, Vani Vihar, Bhubaneswar; an M.Tech. in Information Technology from Punjabi University, Patiala; and a B.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering from the Regional Engineering College, Hamirpur (now NIT). Under his valuable guidance, nine (10) Ph.D. degrees have been awarded. He is an active member of several professional technical and scientific associations, including IEEE (Membership No. 92738007), ACM (Membership No. 5156611), and IAENG (Membership No. 133186). Dr. Saini contributes to his field in various capacities, such as Editor and Member of Editorial Boards, Member of different Subject Research Committees, and Reviewer for international journals and conferences, including Springer, Science Direct, IEEE, Wiley, IGI Global, and Bentham Science. He also serves as a resource person for workshops and conferences. Dr. Saini has published more than 175 research papers in reputed international and national journals and conferences. Additionally, he has organized numerous conferences and workshops, including NCRTDM 2011 at OEC, Bhubaneswar (AICTE, DST, and CSIR sponsored), BSSCAD 2009 at OEC, Bhubaneswar (DST and CSIR sponsored), INSPIR CAMP under the DST Internship, funded by DST in August 2012, IEEE PDGC-2012 as a member of the International Technical Program Committee, IEEE ICIIP 2013 as Technical Program Co-Chair, IEEE PDGC 2020, IEEE ICIIP 2015 and IEEE ISED 2023 as Conference General Chair, PDGC-2016 as the Publicity Committee Chair, and ICIIP-2017 as Registration Chair. Dr. Saini's extensive experience and active involvement in various professional roles highlight his significant contributions to the fields of computing and information technology.
