About
Dr. Duong Tan Nhut graduated from The Kagawa University (Japan). He is the Vice Director and President of Scientific Advisory Council of Tay Nguyen Institute for Scientific Research (VAST). He has more than 400 papers that including 100 peer reviewed international publications, book editor of a book “Thin cell layer culture system: Regeneration and transformation application” for Kluwer Academic Publishers (The Netherlands), contributor of near 20 book chapters for the Spinger Publishers, Kluwer Academic Publishers,..., more than 250 national publications, and has delivered numerous oral and posters presentations in numerous international meetings. Dr Nhut was President of Biology – Agriculture – Life Sciences Concil (Vietnam National Foundation for Science and Technology Development) in year 2015 – 2017; Vice President of Vietnam Plant Physiology Association in year 2003 to date; Member of the Council of Da Lat University in year 2013 to date; Editorial boards of some Journal in International and Vietnam. He was awarded as Best young scientist award at the international conference on tropical and subtropical fruit trees, Cairns, Australia in 2000; The first Vietnamese record for asexual propagation of endemic orchid (Paphiopedilum delenatii) in 2002; Many scientific works (basic research) achieved "Impressive research" in the US in 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, etc.
