Dr. S. Ida Evangeline is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Government College of Engineering, Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, India. She has previously worked as an Assistant Professor at Alagappa Chettiar Government College of Engineering and Technology, Karaikudi, Tamil Nadu.
She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Manonmaniam Sundaranar University in 2003 and her Master’s degree in Power Systems Engineering from Anna University, Chennai, in 2005. She completed her Ph.D. from Anna University, Chennai, in 2023.
Dr. Evangeline has published 12 research papers in reputed international journals. Her research interests include optimal power flow, renewable energy systems, soft computing, machine learning, deep learning, and remote sensing.
