Zahoor Ahmad Wani

About

My teaching and research specialisations, apart from Kashmir Studies, include international politics, political theory, northwestern South Asia, and gender studies. I have written on a range of topics including the Taliban puzzle in Afghanistan, the position of women in Afghan society, the geopolitics of the Afghanistan–India–Pakistan triangle, critical theory, gender, and neoliberalism. Over the past few years, I have also cultivated a deep interest in sociological issues, particularly their structural and societal implications. Currently, I serve as Deputy Editor of South Asia Research (SAR), published by SAGE. (https://journals.sagepub.com/editorial-board/SAR).
