About
A research oriented professional with 3 years of experience in the field of coal and mineral processing industries. Currently, I am working as an Energy Analyst with Ministry of Coal, Government of India with a special focus on analyzing emerging energy scenario, surface coal gasification, green hydrogen production status and its implementation, looking towards energy security, transition, efficiency, policies, tender adjudication, and handle bidders, auction, and allocation of coal mines. Earlier key roles include Research associate at TATA STEEL LTD and Consultant, ABH Engineering Inc., Canada where I gained my domain experience in the field of R&D work on mine waste, chromite, manganese ore beneficiation, Briquetting Technology, value engineering and optimization, project cost estimation at PEA, PFS and FS level, CAPEX and OPEX estimation and economic analysis.
I have earned my PhD in Mineral Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad. I have published 9 journal articles and 5 conference papers to my credit. I have also awarded best researcher award in 2018 (IMTR) and in 2019 (MESA). I am passionate about fine particle and industrial mineral processing, froth flotation and dewatering of minerals, petrography and mineralogical study, application of statistics, soft computing tools and image analysis to mineral processing unit operations.
